Baby Burp Cloths from Mama Spark's World

I have been on a burp cloth making kick.  I had SO many cut out already.  I was cleaning in my room and decided that if I sewed up everything I had cut maybe it would make a little more space.  Hardly, LOL.  I will be destashing when I get back from NC so I have been putting fabric into bins for the big destash too.I listed the burp cloths in my ETSY shop if you are interested in purchasing one

Random Acts of Cuteness from Sew Preeti Quilts

Our office recently moved to a new location.  There are no lunch places within walking distance but there is a café in the basement. The food is good and the service is great. Naturally, I became a regular :-) Fami works in the cafe and she is usually behind the counter so it was a few weeks before I noticed her pregnant state. To be sure, I asked Frank - Is she expecting a baby. Frank nodded. When I asked, he told me that the baby is due in October. She'll be going on leave soon.

So I did what most ...

A Little Time To Make from Mama Spark's World

As you know things have been hectic around here.  We are getting ready to go camping for a few days so that just adds to the mix.  We are meeting up with our friend Kallie in Berlin, Ohio!!  I met her when we were at the campground in NC.  She was camping there with her dog, Ebby.  I saw her sewing outside so I walked up and asked her if she was a quilter.  She said YES! Then we ended up sewing

Catching Up from Mama Spark's World

I have been doing a LOT of binding lately.  It's not great for photos but it is what I have been working on.  That and embroidering and sewing on labels.  I have bound 2 quilts for babies and now working on a third, to gift to a very special friend for her birthday (which I will miss this year).  I have also been making yummy keto foods from new to me recipes.  Is there any interest in that?

Scrappy Sewing {Flannel Burp Cloths} from Little Bunny Quilts

As I mentioned in some of my recent posts, one of my sewing goals for The Great Stay Home Marathon is reorganizing my sewing room. I use flannel for backing baby quilts, but I often end up with flannel scraps that I don't know what to do with a lot of the time. However, there is another impending baby boom in my circle of friends (four babies between June and November!) I decided to pull out the flannel scraps and make some really simple burp cloths.

There are a lot of different burp cloth tutorials out there and I ...
